Understand and test the market conditions, associated opportunities, and gas outlet options. Implement Statoil’s gas and liquids sales strategies for BM-C-33 and BM-S-8. Develop and execute actions and plans to mitigate risks and/or to capture opportunities. The Senior Negotiator will report to Chief Originator MMP MT Brazil.
Implement the stakeholder management strategy relative to potential gas customers and sales partners. Ensure coordination and aligned communication in all sales activities i.e. to speak with one voice in the market in close cooperation with DPI BRA (overall accountable for external stakeholder management in Brazil) and the project teams.
Initial list of work streams under MT responsibility:
Gas and liquids sales strategies and drafting and negotiating Gas Sales Agreements (GSAs)
Market testing and customer identification of qualified gas buyers
Exploratory testing and hunting of business opportunities ahead of BM-C-33 and BM-S-8
Contractual solutions to manage or mitigate swing requirements
Regulatory aspects related to gas sales including lobbying
Identify and create market development opportunities, included 3rd party trading.
